Novi Sad is the second largest city in Serbia and one of the cultural, university and scientific centres of Southeastern Europe. Situated in the southern part of the rich Pannonian Plain and with archaeobotanical evidence on gathering plants and cultivating crops dating back to Palaeolithic times, Novi Sad is also a distinguished spot on the agricultural map of Europe and the home to the Institute of Field and Vegetable Crops.
LSC1 will be held in the Hotel Park, providing all necessary facilities and not far from the city downtown.
The nearest airport to Novi Sad is Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport, about 80 km far from Novi Sad. We would like to help all participants in transport from airport. You may also arrange shuttle transport by yourself or upon arriving to Belgrade airport. The participants are advised to take either bus from the airport to the Belgrade bus station and then to Novi Sad or to take taxi directly to Novi Sad, with an average fare of 35 €.
